Volunteer as a Swim Teacher - What’s Involved?
Be part of our volunteer team and join us as a swim teacher. If you wish to be part of our ‘volunteer pool’ Water Skills for Life would ask that you commit to teaching for the entire swim season. However, we do know that people have busy lives and sometimes can’t always commit. We all work as a team and endeavor to have enough volunteers for each lesson.
As a volunteer swim teacher we can provide opportunities for you to gain extension swim teacher qualifications and professional development with AUSTSWIM. As we support and partner with Swim Vietnam and Aquatic Training School in Vietnam, there maybe opportunities to visit and assist in their programs. Water Skills for Life are always looking for volunteers as swim teachers who have their AUSTSWIM or equivalent qualification to assist in our swimming and water safety programs. If you already have your AUSTSWIM licence, simply register your interest by filling in the Online Form and we'll get right back to you.
If you wish to apply using email, please print out the application form, Code of Conduct and Child Protection Policy , sign and attach to an email.
