Collaroy Turtles

A learn to swim program at Collaroy rockpool on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

Water Skills for Life supported by Collaroy Swim Club provide a learn to swim program for children from 3 years old up to adults.

The program is targeted for children who need to learn to swim, children who are unable to attend lessons, disadvantaged families and new arrivals to Australia. *Criteria applies to all applicants.

We operate from December to March (summer season) each year from 8am to 9.30am on Sunday mornings.

This program is run by qualified Austswim instructors, trainees and helpers.

Each lesson is conducted one on one with an instructor and lasts for approximately 10 to 15mins.

Registration day for season 2019/20 is on 24 November 2019 at 8am at Collaroy rock pool. Cost of the program is $30 which covers for insurance for participants in the program. A completed registration form and the fee is required on the day. The forms will be available from the registration desk on the day.

Season 2019/20 will start at 8am on Sunday, 1 December 2019 and is held each Sunday through to 29 March 2019. There will be a break over the Christmas/New Year period.

We focus on water safety and survival skills, if the tide is high and the water too rough and we deem it unsafe, we may choose not to run swimming lessons. We may decide to run a water safety lesson instead, we'll advise on the Sunday morning. Please watch our facebook page to get up to date information.

Read our information and instruction sheet on the Collaroy Turtles Swim Program for more information and if you've got any further questions, just come and see us any Sunday or contact us for more information.

Please note: Places are limited and we expect that the program will fill up on registration day.
